The main events of the Dutch revolution.

The beginning of the revolution was the Iconoclastic uprising in 1866, during which the people plundered monasteries and churches and gave all the loot to the local authorities;
Revolt 1572 revolt, led by William of Orange, after which an amnesty was declared and the discontent tax was abolished;
The signing of the “Utrecht Union” in 1579, after which a new state appeared.
