The main occupation of the inhabitants of the era of the Ancient World.

At the beginning of the Stone Age, people were engaged in primitive activities: gathering and hunting. With the onset of the Neolithic, people mastered the domestication of animals, the cultivation of various crops. This gave rise to such pursuits as cattle breeding and agriculture. In the Bronze and Iron Age, tools of labor began to be improved, which made it possible to bring the economy to a new level, to increase the amount of the crop being grown. At the end of the era, the birth of Christianity took place.
