The main occupations of the peoples of ancient Europe.

This refers to the period between the 5th century BC. and the 5th century AD. The peoples could be conditionally divided into barbarians, that is, who lived outside the Roman Empire and Greece, and into more civilized ones. The classes were as follows:

Trade. In the Mediterranean Sea, they could trade with Africa and Asia, as well as along the rivers of Europe with the coast of the Baltic Sea, from where they were exported in January.
Agriculture. They grew cereals, grapes, olives, vegetables. The Romans succeeded in this and, to a lesser extent, the Greeks, who had less fertile land.
Building. The Greeks built temples with columns, and the Romans also built stadiums and aqueducts.
Shipbuilding and other crafts. Both the Romans and Greeks knew how to make various products from clay, metals, wood. They built the best ships for their time.
Warfare. They fought often, especially the Romans.
