The main part of the Lutheran worship.

The basis of modern Lutheran worship is the German Mass, which was compiled by M. Luther in 1526. The basis and the main part of this mass, as well as of the entire service, is the preaching of the Word of God. Usually, a sermon is the speaker’s attempt to convey and clarify the teaching of Jesus Christ. Preaching is not an oral explanation and teaching of faith that arose in pre-Christian times. The Lutheran service opens with a spiritual hymn – a psalm, and the sacrament and the collective are closed with a blessing.
