The main photosynthetic organ is the leaf. In what other parts of the plant can photosynthesis take place?

Plant leaves are the main organs where photosynthesis takes place. This is possible thanks to special plastids – chloroplasts. These are green organelles in which glucose is synthesized. It is the chloroplasts that give the green color to the leaves. That is, all the green parts of the plant are capable of photosynthesizing. It could be a stem. Basically, the entire terrestrial part of herbaceous plants is capable of photosynthesis, and trees photosynthesize only with the help of leaves. But there are some exceptions, both in herbaceous and in trees.
