To do this, divide the mass of fresh mushrooms by 100, we get the mass of 1% of fresh mushrooms. We multiply the resulting value by 14%, we get the mass of dried mushrooms:

0.005 q * 14 = 0.07 q = 7 kg.
2. To find the amount of fresh mushrooms to obtain 0.28 quintals of dried ones, let’s make a proportion, where the amount of fresh mushrooms is x:

x = 100%.
Find x using the cross rule:
