The Persians in ancient times were very warlike, they were able to conquer large territories and found a huge empire. So over the years of the reign of such powerful kings as Cyrus 2 and Darius 1, the Persians were able to conquer the following states: Media, Lydia, Babylon, Palestine, Phenicia, Egypt, Thrace, part of the Greek city-states and other lands of Asia.
