The Amazon River is formed by two rivers, that is, after the confluence of the Marañon and Ucayali rivers. It flows in America (southern part). Although it originates from the Andes mountains, it is considered a plain river, because the main part is located on a flat earth surface. Its flow is calm and smooth.
