The number of bright stars in the Big Dipper Bucket?

Not all stars from the constellation Ursa Major are clearly visible in the night sky. But there are seven bright stars that form the familiar pattern of a large bucket with a long handle. These stars look the same in brightness, but are at different distances from the solar system. And if you draw an imaginary line through the two outer stars of the bucket, then you can easily find the North Star, which will indicate the direction to the north.
