The sum of adjacent angles is always 180 °, so we can find the value of one of the angles of the triangle:
180 – 140 = 40 °;
Now we can find out what the sum of the two remaining angles in the triangle is equal to:
180 – 40 = 140 °;
Let’s make an equation and find the magnitude of all angles:
Let x be one part, then the first angle is 3x, and the second is 4x. Since the sum of these two angles is 140, we have the equation:
3x + 4x = 140;
7x = 140;
x = 140: 7;
