All parts of the cell play a role in its life. Including in the process of photosynthesis. However, chloroplasts dominate. Chloroplasts contain a green pigment, chlorophyll. Photosynthesis is impossible without it. In chloroplasts, the energy of the sun is converted into the energy of chemical processes. This is how substances are formed that are necessary for the life of not only the plant itself (glucose), but also for the surrounding space (oxygen).
