The peoples of the Frankish state.

The Frankish kingdom consisted of many united tribes. These included: Franks, Saxons, Goths, Visigoths, Burgundians, Vandals and other tribes. These peoples lived in the Rhine region until the fifth century. They were barbarians and sought to conquer the Roman Empire. After they managed to do this, the Frankish tribes formed their own state, which included the listed peoples. They began to build their civilization led by the Merovingian dynasty. The first king was Clovis.
