The perimeter of a triangle is 17.5 cm. The length of the first side is 0.4 of its perimeter. The length of the second side is 0.8 times the length of the first side. Find the length of the third side of the triangle

First, we can calculate the length of the first side of the triangle, if we know the perimeter:

0.4 * 17.5 = 7 cm.
