The perimeter of a triangle is 37.8 cm. One side is 2/9 of the perimeter, and the other is 3/7 of the perimeter. Find the sides of the triangle.

The perimeter of a triangle is equal to the sum of the lengths of its three sides. In order to find a part of a number, you need to multiply this number by a part. We calculate what the first and second sides are equal to, knowing that they are respectively equal to 2/9 and 3/7 of the perimeter, equal to 37.8 cm.

1) 2/9 * 37.8 = (2 * 37.8) / 9 = 75.6 / 9 = 8.4 cm.
