| 1. Vertices of the triangle – A, B, C. AC is more than AB by 10 units. P is the perimeter.
2. AC = AB + 10 units
3. P = BC + AB + AC = 19 units. BC = AB.
4. Substitute in this expression (AB + 10) and AB instead of AC and BC, respectively:
AB + AB + AB + 10 = 19 units.
3AB = 9 units.
AB = 3 units.
AC = 10 + 3 = 13 units
Answer: AC = 13 centimeters. BC = AB = 3 units.
