We need, since the triangle is isosceles, its two sides are equal.
So we need, (10) one side, multiply by (2):
10 * 2 = 20.
And now from (28) the perimeter of the isosceles triangle, subtract (20) the sum of the two sides.
28 – 20 = 8.
Answer: The base of an isosceles triangle is 8 centimeters.
