| The perimeter of the quadrangle is 2 m 45 cm. Its two sides are 67 cm, and the third is 56 cm. Find the length of the fourth side of the quadrilateral.
The perimeter of a quadrilateral is found by the formula:
P = a + b + c + d
We know that
P = 2 m 45 cm = 245 cm
a = b = 67 cm
c = 56 cm
Find d.
d = P – a – b – c
d = 245 – 67 * 2 – 56 = 245 – 134 – 56 = 55
Answer: the length of the fourth side of the quadrangle is 55 cm.
