The perimeter of a quadrilateral consists of four sides:
P = 20 m = A + B + C + D.
Let’s increase each side by 1 m.
The perimeter becomes equal to:
P1 = (A + 1) + (B + 1) + (C + 1) + (D + 1) = A + B + C + D + 4 = P + 4 = 24 m.
The perimeter will increase by 4 meters.
