The perimeter of the quadrilateral is 4m. One side is 96cm, the other is 18cm larger than the first, and the third side is 2 times smaller than the second. Find the fourth side of the quadrangle.

First, we find the length of the second side of our shape, increasing the first side of the quadrilateral by 18 cm:

96 + 18 = 114 (cm).

Let’s find out what the third side is, for which the length of the second side of the quadrangle will be reduced by 2 times:

114: 2 = 57 (cm).

Now we find the length of the fourth side of the quadrilateral by subtracting the sum of the three known sides from its perimeter:

400 – (96 + 114 + 57) = 133 (cm).

Answer: 133 cm.
