The perimeter of the rectangle is 52cm, its sides are 4/9. Find the area of a rectangle; side of the triangle whose area is equal to the area of the rectangle.
Let’s designate one side for 4x, and the other for 9x
4x + 4x + 9x + 9x = 52
26x = 52
x = 52/26
x = 2
4 × 2 = 8 (smaller side)
9 × 2 = 18 (large side)
8 × 18 = 144 (rectangle area)
