2 * x + 4 = 80: 2;

2 * x = 40 – 4;

x = 36: 2;

x = 18 (cm) the length of one side of the rectangle;

x + 4 = 18 + 4 = 22 (cm) the length of the other side of the rectangle.

Answer: 18 cm and 22 cm.
