| 1. How long is the side of the diamond?
Since all sides of a rhombus are equal, so we divide the 40 cm rhombus perimeter by 4.
40: 4 = 10 cm.
2. What is the area of the rhombus?
S = a ^ 2 * sin ᵦ = 102 * sin 30˚ = 100 * (1/2) = 50 cm2.
Answer: the area of the rhombus is 50 cm2.
