1. Since the perimeter of the square is more than 26 cm and less than 30 cm, then we get that in the square all four sides are equal, then the perimeter of the square cannot be 27 or 29 cm, since then all sides are not the same. Therefore, the perimeter of the square is 28 cm.

2. Find the length of the side of the square:

28/4 = 7 cm.

Answer: The length of the side of the square is 7 cm.
