The perimeter of the triangle ABC is 17/20 m. The AB side is 17/50 m, the BC side is 9/50 m shorter than AB. Find the length of the AC side.
Let us determine the length of the BC side.
By condition, AB – BC = 9/50 m.
Then BC = AB – 9/50 = 17/50 – 9/50 = (17 – 9) / 50 = 8/50 m.
Determine the length of the AC side.
AC = Ravs – AB – BC = 17/20 – 17/50 – 8/50 = 85/100 – 34/100 – 16/100 = 35/100 = 7/20 m.
Answer: The length of the AC side of the wound is 7/20 m.
