The perimeter of the triangle is 24 cm. One side of it is 5/12 of the perimeter, the other 3/8 of it. Find the sides of the triangle.

1. Determine the length of the first side of the triangle. To do this, the perimeter must be multiplied by the fraction that the side is from the entire perimeter. That is: 24 cm * 5/12 = 10 cm.

2. In the same way, we determine the length of the second side of the triangle: 24 cm * 3/8 = 9 cm.

3. The length of the third side is the difference between the perimeter and the sum of the lengths of the first and second side. That is: 24 cm – (10 cm + 9 cm) = 5 cm.

Answer: the length of the first side of the triangle is 10 cm, the length of the second side is 9 cm, the length of the third side is 5 cm.
