3x + 4x + 5x = 48;
12x = 48;
x = 48: 12;
x = 4 cm – length of 1 part.
3x = 3 * 4 = 12 cm.
4x = 4 * 4 = 16 cm.
5x = 5 * 4 = 20 cm.
