The perimeter of triangle ABC is 15.5 cm. Side AB is 1.5 times the size of side BC. Side AC is 60% of side BC. Find the side of the triangle.

This problem is more conveniently solved using an equation.

Let x be the value of the length of the side BC, then the length AB is equal to the value of 1.5 * x. According to the condition of the problem, the length of the AC side is equal to 60% of the length AB, that is, if the percent is converted to an ordinary fraction, then we get 6/10, or in a decimal fraction 0.6. That is, AC = 0.6 * x.
Let’s make the equation:

1) x + 0.6 * x + 1.5 * x = 15.5

3.1 * x = 15.5

x = 5 – the length of the aircraft side.

2) 1.5 * 5 = 7.5 – the length of the AB side

3) 0.6 * 5 = 3 – the length of the speaker side

Answer: The lengths of the sides: 3 7.5 5.
