The periods of the existence of the Arab Caliphate.

The following periods of the existence of the Arab Caliphate can be distinguished:

1) Righteous Caliphate (existed from 632 to 661). We can say that this was the first flowering of this Arab state;

2) the Umayyad Caliphate (it existed from 661 to 750);

3) Abbasid Caliphate, the existence of this state formation can be divided into the following periods:

a) The first period – 750-945 years. During this period of time, he was able to reach its highest prosperity during the reign of Harun Al Rashid;

b) The second period is 1124-1258.
