In accordance with this formula, we calculate the volume of the pool, which has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped:

V = a * b * c = 10 * 5 * 2 = 100 (m 3).

Now let’s calculate the area of the base. To do this, we find the product of the length and width of the pool:
