The problem of Italian society that Mussolini was solving?

Italy after the war in the economic sphere could not quickly switch to a peaceful life, so it fell into decay, 2 million people were unemployed. There were social unrest in the country, a change of government, and after the war it did not receive the promised lands. Therefore, Mussolini created a party under the leadership of the Duce (leader). He was supposed to expand the empire and ensure the prosperity of the people. Employees, front-line soldiers and workers gathered in fascis (unions).

Mussolini wanted to end social contradictions. National unity should be made up of the bourgeoisie and the working class, trade union organizations and parties should be disbanded. Workers and entrepreneurs are united in corporations. The totalitarian plan pursued by Mussolini was to be based solely on the work of people for the good of the state and the interests of the Duce.
