Since the quadrilateral is described around a circle, then the sum of the lengths of the opposite sides is equal.
AD + BC = AB + CD.
Let the length of the segment CD be equal to X cm, then, by condition, the length of the segment AB will be equal to 2 * X cm.
Then 9 + 6 = X + 2 * X.
3 * X = 15.
X = CD = 15/3 = 5 cm.
AB = 2 * CD = 2 * 5 = 10 cm.
Answer: The length of the segment AB is 10 cm, the length of the segment CD is 5 cm.
