1. As a result of the reaction between barium chloride and potassium carbonate, barium carbonate and potassium chloride are formed.
BaCl2 + K2CO3 = BaCO3 + 2KCl;
2. In the interaction of alkali-sodium hydroxide-and carbon dioxide, a salt of carbonic acid is formed – sodium carbonate and water.
2NaOH + CO2 = Na2CO3 + H2O
3. Iron actively burns, forming two of its oxides (FeO – iron oxide (II) and iron (III) oxide -Fe2O3) – iron scale;
3Fe + 2O2 = 2Fe 3O4 (FeO * Fe2 O3) – iron scale
