The reason for the Soviet-Finnish war.

The government of the USSR expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of Finland and sent a note of protest to the government. The document spoke about the illegal actions of the Finnish military personnel in relation to the territorial sovereignty of the Soviet Union. The border zone of the USSR was fired upon by artillery from the adjacent Finnish territory. All responsibility for the subsequent hostilities fell with the Finnish government. In the winter of 1939, a military conflict broke out. A year later, Russia and Finland signed a peace treaty. The Finnish border lands and the city of Vyborg went to the Land of Soviets.
