The reasons for the establishment of the second empire in France.

The reason for the establishment of the Second Empire was the interests of the old nobility, as well as the desire of Napoleon 3 to strengthen his power in the country. Thus, Napoleon III, like his predecessor Napoleon, abolished the republic and returned the monarchy to France again. This happened in 1852. Then there was the formation of a constitutional monarchy, and Napoleon 3 himself became emperor. Ultimately, however, Napoleon III and his regime failed. In 1870, as a result of the war with Prussia, the situation began to deteriorate, which led to the overthrow of his regime and the empire itself.
