Reasons for the fall of the Roman Empire:

1. The division of the empire into western and eastern (western was weaker economically);

2. The barbarization of the army, the old training system fell into decay;

3. Lack of strong imperial power, the struggle of claimants for the throne;

4. Frequent attacks by barbarians led to the destruction of economic life, the decline of urban life and a reduction in trade, the people were unable to pay taxes. Barbarians settled on the territory of the empire;
