The reasons for the growth of nationalist sentiments in Germany, Italy, Japan

After the First World War, the aggressor countries were defeated. Germany, Italy, Japan suffered the most during the war and the Treaty of Versailles. As a result of the proceedings in 1919, Germany was assigned binding conditions. The country had to pay reparations, give up part of European territories, return what it had won, destroy the armed forces and lose colonies. Italy also suffered losses. Because of the infringement of the national identity and freedom of the defeated countries, nationalist movements were formed in them.
