The reasons for the origin of the races of man.

Human racial diversity results from the fact that people in geographic space marry through a range of biological processes and are slow to adapt to local conditions. These biological processes involve the amalgamation and recombination of inherited genetic material over generations, which produces offspring that are different from their parents and ancestors. The environment can favor certain characteristics, creating populations that are average, taller or darker, or more resilient than other populations from other geographic areas. Isolation and inbreeding of some populations can also cause differences. These natural processes occur in both humans and other animals and are a source of much study in biology and anthropology.
