Historical traditions are preserved in China. Only they are combined differently than before. The following factors influence the consciousness of modern people:
Technical progress;
The level of education;
Market relations;
Freedom of action (there is democracy in the PRC).
The Chinese, in spite of the changes, all respect their traditions exactly, they just do not demonstrate it that way. For example, Chinese traditional medicine is popular. Hospitals are open, Chinese citizens are free to choose which type of medical services to give preference to.

A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
