The reasons why people study history, and what the study of history gives me personally.

The reasons:
1) there will be no future without the past.
2) not to make mistakes that have been made in the past.
3) you need to know history in order to be proud of your country (city, etc.).
And what does studying history give me:
It makes the country proud and so on.
One of the components of a person's success in our time is receiving modern high-quality education, mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for life in society. A person today needs to study almost all his life, mastering everything new and new, acquiring the necessary professional qualities.
