The relationship between congenital deafness and dumbness.

The ability to perceive and reproduce sounds are different body functions for which different organs and regions of the brain are responsible. But these abilities are interrelated. If a child is born deaf, he does not hear any sounds. He has a different perception of information. He cannot reproduce sounds in the form of speech. These people think with the help of images, not words. If deafness manifested itself not from birth, but several years after the child learned to speak, dumbness is not observed, although some changes occur.
