Disguise. Tiger stripes aren’t just for show. It is an adaptation that gives tigers the ability to blend in with their environment. Even though the stripes stand out in the zoo, they render tigers almost invisible in their natural habitats.
Body structure. Tigers have physical adaptations that make them very effective hunters. They have flexible claws and long hind legs that allow them to jump high.
Feelings. Tigers are mostly nocturnal hunters, possibly due to their night vision. They have the ability to see long distances both day and night. Tigers also have extremely sensitive hearing abilities.
