Rposl = R + Rn = R (n + 1) – sequential. The sum of all resistances.
Rpair = R * Rn / (R + Rn) = Rn / (n + 1) – parallel. For two: divide the product by the sum.
Rpair / Rposl = [Rn / (n + 1)] / R (n + 1) = n / [(n + 1) ^ 2].
Answer: n / [(n + 1) ^ 2] times.
