The role of the allies in the great patriotic war.

From the very beginning of the war on the eastern front, the USSR began to support Britain, which transferred her supplies and other resources. True, this was not much help. But already in November, the USSR was included in the Lend-Lease program, which began to receive material assistance from the United States. This assistance was very significant for the Soviet army in the war against the Germans, as it was: tanks, cars, ammunition, aircraft, fuel, etc. In addition, in 1944, the Allies opened a second front, in connection with which the Germans had to withdraw part of their forces to the west. This became the reason for the rapid defeat of Germany and the end of the war.
