The sequence of the passage of air through the human respiratory system.

The human respiratory system is one of the main human life support systems, which is responsible for the body’s gas exchange with the environment. To carry out the breathing process, a person needs oxygen-enriched air, since this is one of the most important chemical elements for any organism. When air is inhaled, it first enters the nasal cavity, where it is purified from mechanical impurities and warmed. Then the air passes through the nasopharynx, the trachea, and then enters the lungs and oxygen enters the blood through the alveoli.
