The Sea of Azov is a semi-enclosed sea of the Atlantic Ocean in the east of Europe, washing the coasts of Ukraine and Russia. The depth does not exceed 13.5 meters. In antiquity, the Sea of Azov did not exist, and the Don flowed into the Black Sea in the area of the modern Kerch Strait.
