This expedition lasted almost 3 years. It began on September 19, 1519 and ended on September 6, 1522.
The route of the expedition ran through the east coast of South America, the Pacific Ocean, the islands of Asia and Oceania. Then the last of the remaining ships “Victoria” reached the southern promontory of Africa and along the western coast of the continent reached the starting point of the voyage.
