The height BH of an isosceles triangle divides the base of the AC in half, then AH = CH = AC / 2 = 10/2 = 5 cm.
Then from the right-angled triangle ABH we define the leg BH.
BH ^ 2 = AB ^ 2 – AH ^ 2 = 13 ^ 2 – 5 ^ 2 = 169 – 25 = 144.
BH = 12 cm.
Answer: Height HH = 12 cm.
