P = 2 * (AB + AD) = 2 * (X + 2 * X) = 48 cm.

2 * X + 4 * X = 48.

X = 48/6 = 8 cm.

Side AB = CD = 8 cm.

Side AD = BC = 2 * 8 = 16 cm.

Answer: The sides of the parallelogram are 8 and 16 cm.
