Solution:
The area of a parallelogram is equal to the product of its two sides by the sine of the angle between them.
S ABCD = AB * AD * sin (BAD);
S ABCD = 10 * 12 * sin (150);
Sine 150 is a tabular value and it is 1/2, we substitute its value into the formula.
S ABCD = 10 * 12 * sin (150) = 10 * 12 * 1/2 = 60 (sq. Units);
Answer: S ABCD = 60 square units
