| The sides of one triangle are equal to 15 m, 35 m and 30 m, and the two sides of a similar triangle are equal to 7 m and 6 m. Calculate the length of 3 sides.
First, we determine the ratio of the two sides of each triangle.
We divide 35 cm by 7 cm.
We get:
35/7 = 5.
Find the ratio of the second side of the triangles.
30/6 = 5.
From this it follows that the sides of the triangle are 5: 1.
So the length of the third side of the second triangle will be:
15/5 = 3 cm.
Answer: The length of the third side of the triangle is 3 cm.
